It Had To Happen

We had our first snow last night. I was really surprised because I saw nothing on the weather to predict but it is November.

I have to say, that although I will always be a Southerner to my core, there are moments when I do like the snow. There is a distinct quiet during the snow, as if everything has decided to stand still and take it in. I hate to be cliche, but it is magical....the silence. None of the animals, with the exception of Donkey, were making any noise. He's always the loud one.

I'm looking forward to more just so I can take advantage of some new trails here and snowshoe.
