When Keith and I began our search for the perfect home it was a bit of a lark. Having traveled to New Hampshire on a regular basis to visit friends, camp and enjoy all that the state has to offer, we discussed the possibility of actually making the move. This was Labor Day, 2017. On December 9th, 2017, we moved into Sweet Brier Farm.
When our realtor sent the picture of the house and barn, I immediately said no. How could we ever make this ours? The first visit, though, drew me in. By the second visit, I knew that it was our home. Everything from the yellow house to the amazing barn to the hydrangea tree in the yard. All of these things made YES simple.

When we started telling our friends and family, it felt surreal. We had actually bought a 4,000+ square foot home.... a former B&B.... a recognizable home in our new town.... and 13 acres of woods and pasture. When I shared this with my cousin, he reminded me that I was raised on a small 13 acre farm that my dad had purchased way back when only a few short years before he passed away. The coincidence was not lost on me and I immediately knew that he was with us on this new adventure.
